Sookarama Success!

We had so much fun at Sookarama!

Here are some of our highlights:

-about 80% of the people who came by the booth had heard about us. Most from CHEK and the Seaparc sign.

-About 40-50% are listening to us on a somewhat regular basis!

-got a couple of new member sign ups-

-gave out a lot of stickers and collected a bunch of entries for a draw prize,

-one local politician is very enthused and we wouldn't be surprised if one day becomes a volunteer,

-made invaluable contacts with people who want to share stories with us, even managed to get 3 quickie interviews on tape

-a number of people who said they have been listening with 2 in particular, one woman who came up to say she listens to us all the time and her 9 year old daughter thinks the music we play is amazing,

-the other was at another booth and literally jumped up and down with excitement to be talking with us because she listens all the time!,

We loved being part of this awesome event and huge thanks to Schuyler, Shannon, Chips and Frankie for helping out so much.
